Facts: UFO, shungite
There is one fact that is still surprising – a great quality of Onega water. It is always transparent, fresh and very tasty.
In shore land slide rocks, shungite and quartz can be often found.
Geologists have stated long ago that shungite is carbon in its nature. What is its secret? Carbon in shungite is special! Only in this unique mineral it is evenly distributed in the form of microscopic clumps that can get out of mineral crystalline grid into cold water.
According to one version, shungit is a shatter from planet Phaethon where living creatures existed. When the planet died because of space catastrophe, its shatter fell on Earth, and, possibly, life on our planet appeared first in shungit water.
Total amount of islands in Onega lake is 1650. One of the best known is Kizhi island.
